Collective

In 2015, a fire broke out at a Bucharest nightclub called Colectiv, killing 27 and injuring 180. However, victims with non-life threatening injuries began dying in the facilities where they were being treated. Collective is a documentary that centers on this tragedy and its aftermath. Through interviews with investigative journalists, government officials, whistleblowers, and survivors themselves, the film uncovers the story of a huge health care fraud that was plaguing Romania.
