Color of the Cross 2: Resurrection

This uplifting and reverential sequel to the controversial 2006 religious drama which depicted Jesus as a black man examines the aftermath of the crucifixion. Director Jean Claude LaMarre displays commanding and impressive gravitas in his role as Jesus Christ. Rogue Herring and Alicia Mallory are affecting and effective as Mary Magdalene and Jesus's mother Mary. Sebastian Siegel is outstanding as Judas. Art Roberts, Gil Darnell, David Novak. Josh Gloer wrote the screenplay.
