Recovering alcoholic Norval finds himself traveling to his estranged father's isolated lakefront home after receiving a letter to reconnect. However, his father's unusual behavior triggers Norval's suspicions, forcing him to realize that the emotional catharsis he seeks may not rest in a father-son reunion, rather, their reconnection may be something more sinister altogether.
