GET SMART's creator Leonard Stern returned in the 1970s with the slightly more earnest series MCMILLAN AND WIFE - a staple on the rotating NBC MYSTERY MOVIE from 1971-77, vis-à-vis MCCLOUD and COLUMBO. This police drama starred Rock Hudson and Susan St. James as Police Commissioner Stewart "Mac" McMillan and his wife Sally. In episodes, Sally would periodically stumble into one criminal incident or another and then drag her husband into the fray. This box set features all forty episodes from the program's six seasons, which ran from September 1971 through April 1977.
