Culling Is Coming

An album of half studio, half live material (the latter recorded at the Womad Festival), The Culling Is Coming expands on 23 Skidoo's early material but with more emphasis on free-form sound exploration instead of post-punk funk. The lack of a sturdy framework makes comprehension difficult, though the scattered percussion, tape music and screeching horns are intense throughout. ~ Keith Farley
