Superstar director Hideo Nakata (RINGU), who is responsible to a large degree for the exposure Japanese horror films have recently enjoyed in the West, delivers three tales of chilling terror. In THE CURSED DOLL, a girl is haunted by a toy that houses the spirit of her dead sister. A recently widowed woman camping with her son is haunted by a ghost who mistakes the boy for her own in THE SPIRIT OF THE DEAD. Three vacationing girls find themselves trapped inside THE HAUNTED INN, forced to repeat the events of an earlier tragedy.
