Curtis Harrington Short Film Collection

This unique and special box set pays homage to esteemed avant-garde filmmaker Curtis Harrington (1926-2007), now regarded as one of the harbingers of New Queer Cinema in the United States. The collection offers six acclaimed Harrington shorts: FRAGMENT OF SEEKING (1946), PICNIC (1948), ON THE EDGE (1949), THE ASSIGNATION (1953), THE WORMWOOD STAR (1955) and USHER (2002). Also included are Harrington's 1942 high school film THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER and his rarely-seen 1966 opus THE FOUR ELEMENTS, a nonfiction film made for the United States Information Agency.
