Burdened by childhood trauma and his mother's schizophrenia, college freshman Luke resurrects his childhood imaginary friend Daniel. Daniel helps Luke with his confidence and romantic prospects before revealing he has his own violent motives and may not be a figment of Luke's imagination after all.
