Deadly Affair

James Mason stars as Charles Dobbs, a secret agent who has questions about the suicide of a seemingly stable government official. He suspects the man's wife, concentration-camp survivor Elsa (Simone Signoret), may know more than she's letting on, but officials want him to drop the case.
