Delicious

Set in 1789 France before the Revolution, the story follows Manceron, a cook of a noble house that prides itself on its gourmet dishes. But his self-entitled boss, the Duke of Chamfort, fires him for serving an unsatisfactory dish. Manceron retreats to a faraway inn where a mysterious lady volunteers to be his apprentice. Later, Manceron is inspired to create gastronomic dishes once reserved for the elite, now served to commoners – earning the ire of his former boss.
