Devil's Pond

This tense thriller has been given a respectful treatment for its release on DVD. Devil's Pond has been given a letterboxed transfer to disc in its original widescreen aspect ratio of 1.78:1, while the English soundtrack has been presented in two formats: Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Stereo. No multiple-language options have been included, but the disc does feature closed captions for the hearing impaired. Bonus materials include two separate commentary tracks (one featuring director Joel Viertel and screenwriters Alek Friedman and Mora Stephens, and the other from producers J. Todd Harris and Craig Davis Roth), a collection of deleted footage with comments from the director, a short documentary on the making of the film, a comparison of storyboards with finished sequences, and the film's original trailer.
