Doctor Who is a series that details the varied adventures of the Doctor, a Time Lord hailing from the planet Gallifrey who arrives on earth by what appears to be a 1950s London police call box. In reality, this call box is actually a TARDIS; short for Time and Relative Dimension(s) in Space, the TARDIS is a vehicle that allows the Doctor to travel throughout the universe. As an added bonus, the Doctor has the ability to regenerate into a new looking body as a last resort before succumbing to death due to injuries incurred while traveling the universe.
