Audio Mixer: James Rushent.
Recording information: Wired Studios.
The sometimes difficult second album, produced after two additional years of touring and the expansion of the group to a five-piece, finds Does It Offend You, Yeah? sounding nearly identical to their debut. In place, and still poised halfway between the rave and the rock show, are pounding beats, shrieking frequencies, and occasionally, bursts of experimental rock that show lead vocalist James Rushent and company treating modern dance as the playground for modern songwriting. It's an approach that meets rock via electronic dance in the same way that Radiohead meets electronic dance via rock. ~ John Bush
