Everybody Dance! [Performance Tracks]

In a sense, 2009's EVERYBODY DANCE is the coming out party for longtime gospel producer James Roberson. Oft seen behind the boards for the likes of inspirational luminaries from Beverly Crawford to Norman Hutchins, on the microphone Roberson is a dervish of a musical preacher. The title track and opening single, a fevered number melding club emotion with organ riffs and testimonial refrains, gives ample hint to the rest of the album; EVERYBODY DANCE shows a devotional touch as well as a desire for musical exploration, but mostly it's just impassioned.
