DJ: DJ Marky.
Audio Mixer: DJ Marky.
Fans of DJ Marky specifically, and drum'n'bass in general, should be overjoyed that Brazil's most famous jungle export has been featured on yet another wide-release mix album (after 2010's The Kings of Drum + Bass, co-billed with 4hero), after too many years of releases that didn't reach enough ears. And for those who don't know much about one of the world's most renowned jungle DJs, Marco's Fabriclive.55 is a solid introduction, including tracks from the labels and producers he favors most (imprints including his associated Innerground label, Symmetry, Ram, and Metalheadz; artists like Marcus Intalex, S.P.Y., Calibre, Siren). Marky's half of The Kings of Drum + Bass mix was rather monochromatic, so this Fabric set gets a little more dynamic, none better than the Rollers mix of "Bright Lights" by Die & Interface (with much of the luster coming thanks to the vocals and live playing of William Cartwright). ~ John Bush
