Facing the Giants

Director-star Alex Kendrick scores with this uplifting and triumphant high-school football saga. Kendrick is coach of a sorry team that hasn't had a winning season in more than six years. But things change when he diagrams a new faith-based game plan for them and himself. Kendrick co-wrote the script with his brother, Stephen. The film features an all-volunteer cast of amateur actors, and University of Georgia football coach Mark Richt has a cameo.
