Not to make the band sound corporate, as they are anything but, but reggae-rock crew Rebelution were practically a brand by the time of this 2016 LP. They're a rightfully trusted brand, as well, as Falling Into Place is full of the usual fine songwriting, the singalong hooks, and the Eric Rachmany/Matt Velasquez vocal harmonies that make everything go down smooth and sweet. Jammy with a purpose, they are built for summer festivals and capture that vibe on this Easy Star LP, especially on highlight "Inhale/Exhale," which features dancehall singer Protoje. Poppier numbers like "Upper Hand" broaden the band's horizons, and a horn section helps turn this group into a large sound system -- and one worth checking on this satisfying album. ~ David Jeffries
