Drawing selections from Morricone's 1960s, '70s, and '80s film scores, the collection gives listeners an excellent overview of the maestro's more mainstream work, from the iconic spaghetti Western piece "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly Main Theme" to the slinky, melancholy tune "The Sicilian Clan Main Theme" to the angelic composition "On Earth as It Is in Heaven" from THE MISSION.
