Flags of Our Fathers [WS]

Clint Eastwood produced, directed and composed the score for this inspiring and engrossing World War II epic. It's the fact-based story of two marines and a sailor (Adam Beach, Jesse Bradford, Ryan Phillippe) who helped raise the flag over Iwo Jima and then were shipped home to help raise money for the war effort. Adapted from the book by Ron Powers and James Bradley, whose father is played by Phillippe. Steven Spielberg is one of the producers. Barry Pepper, Judith Ivey, John Benjamin Hickey.
