Forces' Sweetheart [One Day Music]

One Day's 2014 compilation The Forces' Sweetheart is a generous triple-disc set that contains 75 tracks Vera Lynn recorded during WWII. This may indeed be a bit too much for many listeners -- and, as it's constructed as a sampler rather than an archival release, it won't satisfy those looking for a complete set -- but it's an affordable way to get a lot of Lynn. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
