Galaxy Quest

A DreamWorks release, this anamorphic widescreen DVD has a Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound track and captioned subtitles. Viewers can even listen to a Thermian Language (the alien tongue in the film) audio track as they watch this entertaining movie. This DVD is crisp and full of detail and vivid color. The Dolby soundtrack is clear and of excellent quality, with good blending of bass and treble tones. Additional features include the original "On Location in Space" featurette, which includes scenes of how Stan Winston and his crew filmed some of the special effects, with commentary by the cast. Viewers will also find the usual original film trailers, deleted scenes, and cast and crew bios. Watch for the amusing rotating Rock Monster on the special features menu. Clicking it gives some additional info. The bonus features are as fun to watch as the film.
