Gerard Souzay - The Art Of (1955/1966)

French Baritone Gérard Souzay performs a variety of classical vocal compositions with the backing of the Orchestre de Radio-Canada in this release of two performances originally telecast in 1955 and 1966. In the first performance, originally telecast on February 3, 1955, Souzay sings the works of Lully, Debussy, and Ravel. In the second performance, originally telecast on March 3, 1966, Souzay performs works by Lully, Rameau, Mozart, Schubert, Berloiz, Gounod, Duparc, Fauré, Gluck, and Canteloube.
