Giver [Limited Edition]

Composed by Academy Award-nominee Marco Beltrami (The Hurt Locker, 3:10 to Yuma), the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack for the Phillip Noyce-directed big screen adaptation of author Lois Lowry's popular young adult science fiction novel The Giver includes Beltrami's complete score for the film. Working once again in the realm of a dystopian future (2013's Snowpiercer mined similar themes), Beltrami once again brings his signature blend of melodic, narrative-driven warmth and heavily detailed action cues to the table, resulting in a piece of work that both complements and helps drive the film's singular vision. ~ James Christopher Monger
