A romantic and intimate collection of contemporary jazz songs, 2013's Go Where the Road Leads showcases saxophonist Kenny Blake and vocalist Maria Shaheen. A soulful jazz musician, Blake's playing complements Shaheen's more cool and sultry style. Included here are such original songs as producer Peter Morley's title track, the R&B-inflected "A Melody Is a Heady Wine," and even a cover of Antonio Carlos Jobim's "Waters of March."
