Gothic Divas Presents Switchblade Symphony, Tre Lux & New Skin

The late electro-goth outfit Switchblade Symphony, its spin-off outfit Tre Lux (helmed by Switchblade's Tina Root), electroclash duo Effcee, and pop-goth band New Skin are the participants in this dance-oriented collection of remixes and rarities. Tre Lux carry off most of the honors with the menacing goth disco of "Never Let Me Down" and their take on the Stones classic "Wild Horses," while the Switchblade Symphony tracks conjure an electronic Siouxsie & the Banshees, and electronica artist David Harrow's remix of New Skin's "Hey Baby" brings a New Order-like rigor to the proceedings. ~ Steve Goulding
