Gracias A La Vida

A tribute to the songs that influenced her career, Gracias a la Vida is a covers album from Spanish jazz-pop vocalist Pasión Vega. Released in 2009, the follow-up to Pasion en el Maestranza features reworkings of Pablo Milanes' "De Que Callada Manero," Carlos Gardel's "Cuesta Abajo," and Chabuca Granda's "Fina Estampa" alongside renditions of hits from Jose Alfredo Jiminez, Agustin Lara, and Mariano Mores. ~ Jon O'Brien
