This particular Earth, Wind & Fire Greatest Hits, a European release, was issued in 2010 through Sony. It's a straightforward 17-track overview of their Columbia years and contains most of their absolutely essential singles. There is a lot of depth to the band's discography, which goes far beyond the likes of "Shining Star," "Let's Groove," "Boogie Wonderland," "After the Love Has Gone," and "Fantasy" -- all of which are included -- but this is a solid introduction and cannot be faulted for its limited capacity. ~ Andy Kellman
