Green Devils: Geman Paratrooper Elite 1942-1945 (USA Import)

The late World War II initiatives of Adolph Hitler's feared "fallschirmjaeger" (paratroopers) arm of the Luftwaffe is explored in this documentary tracing the operations of the troupe from North Africa and East Prussia as well as Italy and Normandy. From their early role as paratroopers to their later status as an elite ground troupe, the team known as the Green Devils also reeked havoc in the East, where they attacked Soviet T-34s by utilizing "Panzerschreck" anti-tank weapons.
