Grumpier Old Men

Howard Deutch's follow-up to the successful Grumpy Old Men comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer that fails to reproduce the original theatrical aspect ratio. English and French soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, while a Spanish soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround. Subtitles are available in all three of those languages. Supplemental materials include production notes and a pair of theatrical trailers. This disc suffers from the lack of a widescreen image, but otherwise it is a serviceable release of a less than inspired comedy.
