Leon is a down-on-his-luck middle-aged door-to-door salesman struggling to connect with his teenage son. In an effort to turn the tide in their bond, Leon packs up his son for a camping expedition in the Appalachian mountains. However, their benign camping trip soon turns into a nightmare when a sinister being begins to stalk their every move. And one morning, Leon's son is suddenly missing.
