Hard Lesson

This inspirational drama follows the crusade of Jeff Solomon White, a Jewish parole officer assigned to teach literacy to underprivileged teens at a New York high school. White feels an unusual degree of sympathy for the students given his own upbringing by African American parents, and fights to save the teenagers from lives of imprisonment and criminal behavior.
