This made-for-cable historical drama has been given an above-average presentation for its release on DVD. Helen of Troy has been given a letterboxed transfer at its original aspect ratio of 1.78:1 (the film was given a theatrical release in Europe, so it was shot in widescreen), and the audio has been mastered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1. The dialogue is in English, with optional subtitles in French and Spanish. Bonus material includes a short documentary on the making of Helen of Troy, and production notes on the cast and filmmakers.
