When a mother is consumed by the fear of her family leaving her, she decides to leave first and avoid being hurt. The ever-increasing distance that develops between her and her family acts as a trigger. When she leaves, the family is left to figure out what happened. This film is based on Claudine Galea's play "Je reviens de loin."
