Trad, Gras Och Stenar is a Swedish quartet that arose out of the ashes of Harvester/International Harvester at the tail end of the 1960s. Combining psychedelia and Scandinavian folk music into a droning, hypnotic sound, the group's debut album covered "All Along the Watchtower" and "I Can't Get No Satisfaction" in a drawn-out fashion uniquely their own. Released some 40 odd years from their debut, HOMELESS CATS proves they're still one of the most unique bands around. From unexpected disco-funk rhythms to skittery, nearly free jazz-like improvisations, the album makes it clear that the passage of four decades hasn't diminished this group's creativity or energy in the slightest.
