Director-writer Edgar Wright, writer-star Simon Pegg and costar Nick Frost, the U.K. trio behind the frighteningly silly but bloody hilarious "Shaun of the Dead," reunite for this smashingly entertaining cop-buddy joyride. Pegg is a big-city superofficer who gets teamed with Frost's small-town booby bobby to fight crime in the quaint old town of Sandford, where things are not as calm as they seem. Features cameos by Cate Blanchett, Timothy Dalton and director Peter Jackson.
