If ever there was an artist deserving of having a compilation called Icon, it's West Coast hip-hop legend Ice Cube. Gathering just 11 tracks from the rap great, the compilation is essentially a repackaging of the 10 Great Songs collection with "What Can I Do?" tacked onto the end. While the selection here is solid, the inclusion of radio edits is less than ideal. That said, it's still an incredibly solid collection, and if the labels keep adding to it one track at a time like this, it might eventually grow into an Ice Cube compilation of unknowable power.
