As promotion for their fourth album Leaving Wonderland.In a Fit of Rage in 2009, Marcy Playground invited fans to submit remixes of the album tracks to the website Indaba. Over 300 remixes were submitted and the 2010 album Indaba Remixes from Wonderland collects 13 of the best of them. The fans open up Marcy Playground in a way very-AAA Leaving Wonderland never suggested possible, finding disco beats to support acoustic guitars, stripping tracks back to their vocals, turning cuts into a chilly cool-down or finding something eerie hidden deep within a track, sometimes just opening up an existing song so it feels fuller. To say the least, it's adventurous in a way the original album isn't, suggesting unexpected ways Marcy Playground could possibly pursue on their fifth album. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
