Infidel

This thriller-drama is about an American journalist who gets into trouble in the Middle East. When Doug is invited to speak in Cairo, Egypt by a friend, he travels against the wishes of his wife, Liz. Doug is kidnapped and loses touch with everyone. Since Liz works at the State Department, she uses all her connections to help find her husband, only to be shut down as the government doesn't want to get involved. She then continues the search on her own.
