Inspector Lewis: Series 5

An adaptation of the popular detective novels by Colin Dexter and a spinoff of the earlier program INSPECTOR MORSE, INSPECTOR LEWIS originated on Britain's Independent Television Service, and later ran on PBS's MASTERPIECE MYSTERY! in the US. Episodes found Inspector Robert Lewis (Kevin Whately) solving crimes amid the backdrop of the idyllic English countryside, with the assistance of Detective Sergeant James Hathaway (Laurence Fox). The four full-length mysteries in the Series 5 collection include THE SOUL OF GENIUS, GENERATION OF VIPERS, FEARFUL SYMMETRY, and THE INDELIBLE STAIN.
