The second full-length album from Indiana progressive heavy metal band the Contortionist, Intrinsic features more of the group's expansive, angular, and muscular rock. Once again showcasing the talents of keyboardist/vocalist Jonathan Carpenter, guitarists Robby Baca and Cameron Maynard, bassist Christopher Tilley, and drummer Joey Baca, Intrinsic has a loose conceptual through-line from track to track.
