Irish country singer John McNicholl was the proud recipient of the Best Newcomer Award from Country Music UK. Among other great highlights of John's singing career to date include sharing a stage with Daniel O' Donnell and Sir Cliff Richard at the Kincasslagh Festival and playing support to the legendary Elton John. John McNicholl has received the Hot Country Award for Best CD & DVD for his album Love Songs. He has been a mentor on the singing talent show Glór Tíre.
