Merlin

This film captures the debut performance of Isaac Albéniz's opera +Merlin. The journey from the page to the stage was a fascinating one. The original manuscript was thought lost, but a century after it was written José de Eusebio used a variety of sources to rebuild it. The magic-filled story ended up finally being staged nearly a century after it was originally written.
