Johann Sebastian Bach - Die Kunst Der Fuge

The unique classical concert featured in this music release was shot on November 28, 2007. It finds The Akademie für Alte Musik, a renowned baroque orchestra based in Berlin, performing its own arrangement of fugal work by Johann Sebastian Bach, specifically 18 musical counterpoints divided among spatially distinct groups of instruments. Stephan Mai, Raphael Alpermann and Xenia Loffler did the arrangements, for harpsichord, organ and 16 strings.
