Originally released in 1994, Plena Libre's Juntos y Libre revealed their commitment to a modern style of plena, the folkloric music of Puerto Rico. Spicy dance beats and arrangements augment the plena style on this album for a refreshing mix of old and new. Not only have the songs on Juntos y Libre been remastered, the vocal tracks have been re-recorded to reflect Plena Libre's current lineup.
