K-9: P.I.

James Belushi is a cop who teams up with a dog in the sequel K-9: P.I., which comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1. Spanish subtitles are accessible, and both soundtracks are closed-captioned. Supplemental materials include a pedestrian making-of featurette and a trailer. At the very least, this Universal release does offer outstanding picture and sound quality.
