Harry J. Lennix (THE MATRIX RELOADED) stars as trailblazing and controversial African-American Congressman Adam Clayton Powell, Jr., who started out as a preacher in Harlem, then went on to deal with then-sensitive subjects such as the integration of schools with John F. Kennedy, Jr. in the 1940's and 50's. Vanessa L. Williams stars as his second wife, jazz singer Hazel Scott. The film originally aired on Showtime.
