Kiss Kiss Bang Bang [Blu-ray]

Writer-director Shane Black (who wrote "Lethal Weapon") puts a killer spin on this slam-bang salute to old-school noir detective yarns. Robert Downey Jr. and Val Kilmer are superb as a hapless hood and a gay PI looking into a mysterious death involving the sister of Downey's high-school crush (Michelle Monaghan). This is Black's directorial debut, and he tips his hat to pulp master Raymond Chandler by naming each chapter of the film after a Chandler book title.
