Knight's Tale

Who cares what the movie's about? The soundtrack to the film A KNIGHT'S TALE is jam-packed with enough '70s rock classics to put any Rhino Records compilation to shame. Heavy-guitar party anthems don't come much more arresting than Thin Lizzy's "The Boys are Back in Town." The kings of pomp-rock, Queen are on hand with one of their most anthemic offerings, "We Will Rock You." On the groovier side, there's the white soul of David Bowie on "Golden Years," and the L.A. Latino funk-rock of War on their signature song "Low Rider." Just to keep things from getting too mired in the past, there are a couple of more contemporary pop-rock offerings, from Third Eye Blind ("Eye Conqueror") and Robbie Williams, who pays his own '70s homage with a version of Queen's other major anthem "We are the Champions." There's fist-pumping aplenty to be found on A KNIGHT'S TALE, whether you've seen the film or not.
