This star-studded concert by Ray Charles, Bo Diddley, Jerry Lee Lewis, James Brown, Little Richard, Fats Domino, and B.B. King took place in Rome in 1989 and was filmed and recorded for album and movie release. It features each of these legendary artists performing a song or two or three on their own and a grand finale jam with all of them together. With a wild and receptive crowd, it's a testament to each of these performers, but remains at best more of a priceless archival and historical release than an essential one. ~ Steve Leggett
