In this ravishing romantic drama, gifted architect Sabine de Barra is hired to design a section of the elaborate landscaping at the Palace of Versailles for Louis XIV. The job brings with it gender and class barriers, and she also must contend with renowned landscaper André Le Notre, with whom she develops both a professional and romantic relationship.
